KESSEL – Leading in drainage


  • Core responsibilities:
    • Development and expansion of engineering consultant network for the KESSEL product portfolio in the United Kingdom
    • Specification of KESSEL products into the design of national / international projects (with consultants, architects, developers, hotels and fast food chains)
    • Technical and dimensioning product support to engineering consultants
    • Planning and implementation of on-site and on-line product training
    • Creation of a multi-national network of internationally active engineering consultant offices
    • Close interaction with KESSEL sales partner / importer in the United Kingdom
  • Product specific responsibilities:
    • Knowledge of British Standard Norms and Regulations relating to plumbing, drainage and wastewater. Recommendation of the appropriate KESSEL product according to corresponding norms / regulations
    • Team member product market manager
    • Competitor product analysis / comparison to equivalent KESSEL product
  • Marketing:
    • Continued development of KESSEL brand awareness in the UK market
    • Ideas / Recommendations / Concepts of country specific marketing tactics / activities
    • Expansion of consultant / customer network via KESSEL social media channels
    • Organization support for KESSEL events in the UK
  • Areas of responsibility:
    • Primarily the Greater London area
    • Metropolitan areas such as Manchester / Birmingham etc.

Qualification Requirements

  • Hard skills :
    • Mechanical engineer / Civil engineer / Technical degree or equivalent
    • Minimum 5 years professional experience
    • Established connections / network with British consultants, architects and developers
    • Documentable track record of previous success / achievements
    • Good MS office knowledge / skills
    • Marketing knowledge / experience
    • Valid UK driver’s license / Clean police record
  • Soft skills :
    • Personal / Enjoys creating new business relationships
    • Level – headed / emphatic
    • Goal orientated / accepts, executes and follows through with jobs / challenges
